Andrew Tavares, a 34-year-old resident of Vallejo, California, was tragically killed on April 26, 2022, in West Oakland. The incident stemmed from a confrontation between Tavares and his longtime friend, Sean Struckus, who was also deeply involved in the local graffiti scene. The two had a falling out shortly before the fatal encounter, which took place near a skate park in West Oakland.
