On June 3, 2022, Jamari Deshawn Darden, a 29-year-old resident of Bakersfield, California, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. The Bakersfield Police Department (BPD) responded to reports of a shooting just before midnight in the 700 block of Brundage Lane.
