Thomas Paulie Smith Jr., a 16-year-old from Mount Airy, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on December 17, 2022, while visiting family in Antioch, California. Thomas, affectionately known as 'Paulie,' was in the Bay Area with his mother, Nakia Banks, to spend time with relatives during the holiday season.
