David R. Clark, a 33-year-old Deputy Sheriff with the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office, tragically lost his life on February 11, 1987, in Dewitt, New York. On the evening of February 10, 1987, Deputy Clark and his colleague, Deputy Bernard Meleski, were escorting three prisoners from jail to the Dewitt Town Hall for a court appearance.
