In the early morning hours in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, a young man's life was tragically cut short. Kendell Friday, a 25-year-old male, was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. The incident occurred around 4:55 a.m. near the intersection of Schenectady Avenue and St. John's Place.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and quickly transported Friday to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
