On the evening of May 24, 2000, Ali Ibadat, a 40-year-old man from Pakistan, was working at a Wendy's restaurant in Flushing, Queens, when his life was tragically cut short in a brutal act of violence that would come to be known as the 'Wendy's massacre.'
