On a late Thursday evening in September 2018, the life of 42-year-old Orville Scott was tragically cut short in the Rosedale section of Queens, New York. Police responded to a 911 call around 10:30 p.m. regarding a red Honda Accord that had crashed into a light pole at the intersection of 249th Street and 144th Avenue. Inside the vehicle, emergency responders discovered Scott unconscious, having sustained a gunshot wound to the head.
