On a fall afternoon in Queens, New York, the life of 32-year-old Robert Hale, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On October 17, 2015, at approximately 12:09 p.m., Hale was standing at the corner of 107th Avenue and 164th Street in the Jamaica neighborhood when he was shot twice in the face.
