On a fall afternoon in Queens, New York, the life of 32-year-old Robert Hale, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On October 17, 2015, at approximately 12:09 p.m., Hale was standing at the corner of 107th Avenue and 164th Street in the Jamaica neighborhood when he was shot twice in the face. The brazen daylight shooting left him unconscious and unresponsive at the scene.
