Daniel Enchautegui, a 28-year-old off-duty New York City Police Officer, was tragically killed on December 10, 2005, in the Pelham Bay section of the Bronx. The incident occurred early in the morning when Enchautegui, who had just finished a late shift, heard the sound of breaking glass from the house next door.
