In the early morning hours of June 11, 2007, the life of a promising 24-year-old male rapper from Queens, New York, was cut short. Rayquan Elliot, known professionally as Stack Bundles, was fatally shot in the lobby of his apartment building at the Redfern Houses in Far Rockaway. He was returning home around 5 a.m. after a night out when he was ambushed and shot once in the head and once in the thigh. Elliot was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
