In the early hours of March 16, 2014, a tragic event unfolded at the Mint Restaurant & Lounge in Garden City, New York, abruptly ending the life of 21-year-old Emmanuel Barnett. A college student with a promising future, Barnett was studying electrical engineering at Queensborough Community College. That night, what began as a social gathering descended into chaos when a large fight broke out inside the nightclub.
