Taleek R. Smith, a 23-year-old resident of Hempstead, NY, tragically lost his life on April 26, 2020. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when Hempstead Police Department officers responded to a Shot Spotter activation near Olsen Place at approximately 12:19 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Taleek R.
