In the summer of 2015, a young man from Brooklyn named Deshawn Henry, age 23, found his life cut tragically short in a quiet neighborhood in Inwood, Nassau County. On the evening of July 14th, a passerby made a grim discovery on James Street, finding Henry's body in the bushes in front of a home. He had been shot at least once, and authorities quickly determined that his death was a homicide.
