Gerraud Hill, a 30-year-old resident of Malverne, New York, tragically lost his life on July 3, 2015, in Hempstead. Hill was shot at least once while on the street in front of 75 Chase Street. Following the shooting, he managed to drive his car but subsequently crashed into a house. He was transported to Mercy Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 11:28 p.m. The house he crashed into suffered structural damage, but no one inside was injured.
