Victor Benitez, a 28-year-old resident of Hempstead, New York, tragically lost his life in the early hours of July 4, 2015. Benitez was shot on the sidewalk in front of 426 Clinton Street at approximately 4:41 A.M. He sustained a gunshot wound to the torso and was pronounced dead at the scene.
