On the evening of January 24, 2024, at approximately 9:00 PM, Dallas police responded to a shooting incident in the 8500 block of Old Hickory Trail. Upon arrival, officers discovered 18-year-old Larry Devonte Blair suffering from a gunshot wound. Preliminary investigations indicated that Blair had been involved in an argument with an unidentified individual, which escalated when the suspect produced a firearm and shot him.
