Khalil Bowlin, a 17-year-old from Queens, NY, tragically lost his life on March 30, 2014, in a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred in front of a house on Lakewood Avenue where Khalil and his friends were gathered. A blue car drove by, and a gunman inside opened fire, hitting Khalil in the torso. Another teenager, aged 18, was also shot in the leg but survived the attack.
