On July 6, 2014, Kuwan Collins, a 40-year-old resident of Voorhees Township, New Jersey, was tragically killed during a violent crime spree on Staten Island. Collins was walking with a friend towards a car on Britton Avenue when he was shot in the head by Tyrell Brown, a 25-year-old man who had been on a rampage that morning.
