Daryl R. Pierson, a 32-year-old police officer with the Rochester Police Department, tragically lost his life on September 3, 2014, in Rochester, New York. Officer Pierson was engaged in a foot pursuit of a suspect following a traffic stop near Hudson Avenue and Warsaw Street.
