Niem Morales, a 22-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost his life on September 25, 2014, in a shooting incident in East New York. Morales was found with multiple gunshot wounds at the corner of Logan Street and New Lots Avenue, just a few blocks from his home. The shooting occurred around 8:42 p.m., and despite efforts to save him, Morales succumbed to his injuries. The incident left the community in shock and mourning, as another young life was cut short by gun violence.
