Rafael Laureano, a 52-year-old former bodybuilder from Brooklyn, NY, tragically lost his life on September 29, 2014, in a harrowing incident involving the NYPD. Laureano was attempting to assist his friend, Katarzyna Russo, who was under attack by her ex-boyfriend, Francisco Carvajal.
