Derek Quattlebaum, a 28-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, was tragically shot and killed on January 20, 2015, in Queens. The incident occurred at a BP gas station located at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and the Van Wyck Expressway in Richmond Hill. Quattlebaum was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his head, torso, and limbs. Despite being rushed to Jamaica Hospital, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
