Bruce Donovan, a 23-year-old resident of Crown Heights, Brooklyn, was fatally shot on the evening of August 7, 2015. The incident occurred in front of the Glenwood Houses, a public housing complex in Brooklyn, where Donovan was attending a barbecue with friends.
