Kevin Brye, a 34-year-old resident of Manhattan, New York, tragically lost his life on September 19, 2015. He was fatally shot in the head just before midnight near the Jefferson Houses on East 115th Street and First Avenue in East Harlem. The incident occurred during a particularly violent weekend in New York City, which saw multiple shootings and fatalities across various boroughs. Brye was transported to Metropolitan Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
