Jeren Johnson, aged 25, was tragically shot and killed on December 6, 2015, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a passenger in a silver Nissan Altima when the incident occurred in the 2600 block of General Collins Street at around 8 p.m. During the drive, another passenger in the vehicle's backseat suddenly opened fire, fatally wounding Jeren. The driver of the car, Jeren's friend, was also injured in the subsequent crash but survived. Jeren succumbed to his injuries on the scene.
