On a December evening in New Orleans, what began as a car ride ended in a senseless tragedy that claimed the life of Jeren Johnson. The 25-year-old male was a passenger in a silver Nissan Altima on December 6, 2015, when a single gunshot shattered the night's calm. The shot, fired from within the vehicle, struck Johnson, leading to his immediate death and causing the car to crash.
