In the cold of a December night in New Orleans, a young woman's life, full of promise, was violently extinguished. Breon Stewart, a 23-year-old female, was killed on December 16, 2015, in a brutal shooting in New Orleans East. Stewart, who was on the verge of graduating with a nursing degree, was not alone in her final moments. She was with her boyfriend, Lionel Delpit III, and was just weeks away from giving birth to their son.
