On June 20, 2012, the body of 33-year-old Tanyana Elliott was found inside a pickup truck at the Wind Run Apartments in New Orleans East, along the I-10 Service Road. She had been missing since June 18, when she was last seen alive by her family around 11 p.m. The discovery of her decomposed body marked a tragic end to the search.
