In a tragic sequence of events that unfolded in May of 2016, a man from Poughkeepsie, New York, was found deceased in what authorities would later describe as a murder-suicide that spanned two different cities. The body of 39-year-old Pawel Pawliszyn was discovered in his mother's Poughkeepsie home on May 14, 2016. He had sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
