In the late spring of 2016, on a street crowded with children in Syracuse, New York, a dispute led to the untimely death of Tabarrie T. 'Dooley' Tillie. The 37-year-old man was fatally shot on May 31, 2016. The incident stemmed from a prior altercation between Tillie and a teenager.
Following an investigation into the shooting, two individuals were charged in connection with Tillie's death.
The primary suspect, a 15-year-old male named Vikal Williams, was accused of walking across a park, getting into a pickup truck, and then shooting Tillie. In December of that year, Williams pleaded guilty to the killing.
A second man, 20-year-old Jeffrey Bradshaw, was also charged in connection with Tillie's death. At the time of this charge, Bradshaw was also facing a murder charge for a separate incident that occurred in October 2015, which resulted in the death of a 15-year-old.
