The incident occurred just before 11 p.m. inside the lobby of 708 Kingsborough 7 Walk, a building within the same housing complex where he lived in the Weeksville section of Brooklyn.
Responding officers discovered him with gunshot wounds to his head and back; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
