On July 25, 2016, Beramy Garcia, a 33-year-old Hispanic male, was fatally shot in the Mount Hope neighborhood of the Bronx, New York. The incident occurred around 5:15 a.m. near East 175th Street and Weeks Avenue, shortly after the conclusion of the Bronx Dominican Day Parade.
