Keyshan Gayle, an 18-year-old from Newburgh, NY, tragically lost his life on the night of August 30, 2016. Gayle was fatally shot while standing at an intersection in the City of Newburgh. The incident occurred late at night, and Gayle was struck in the back by a bullet. He had recently graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in June and was preparing to start college. The sudden and violent nature of his death shocked the community and left his family and friends in deep mourning.
