On December 20, 2024, Beverly Green Harmon, aged 58, and her husband, 62-year-old Wendell Harmon, were found deceased in their Altadena, California home. Both had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and their deaths have been classified as homicides.
The discovery occurred when deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Altadena station conducted a welfare check at the couple's residence on the 700 block of West Sacramento Street, near Casitas Avenue, around 8:04 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Beverly and Wendell unresponsive, and both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Beverly Harmon had a longstanding career in finance before establishing a home health aide business, while her husband, Wendell, was employed with Pasadena's Parks and Recreation Department. The couple was married for over 30 years and was regarded by loved ones as the "ultimate power couple." Family members, including Beverly's sister, Monica Harmon, have expressed profound grief and are seeking justice for the tragic loss.
As of now, authorities have not announced any arrests or identified any suspects in connection with the case.
