David Arzu, a 29-year-old resident of Islip, NY, tragically lost his life on September 2, 2016. He was fatally shot during a robbery while walking to the Long Island Rail Road train station in Bay Shore, New York. The incident also claimed the life of Janelle Curella, who was with Arzu at the time. The assailant, Lameek Everette, a member of the Bloods street gang, carried out the robbery and subsequent murders.
