In the quiet community of Islip, New York, the life of 24-year-old Kenneth Evans was violently cut short on the evening of November 28, 2015. Evans, a male resident of Islip, was walking with two friends on Gibson Avenue in the nearby town of Brentwood when they were suddenly attacked by members of the notorious MS-13 gang. The assailants, who were reportedly seeking to retaliate against rival gang members, mistakenly identified Evans and his companions as threats.
