Felicita Sotillo, a 38-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost her life on October 5, 2016, in what authorities have described as a murder-suicide. The incident occurred in her apartment on Gates Avenue in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood. According to police reports, Sotillo was shot in the head by her boyfriend, Andy Kennedy, who then turned the gun on himself.
