On a tragic Palm Sunday, April 15, 1984, the life of 10-year-old Marilyn Bermudez was cut short in an act of brutal violence in her Brooklyn, New York home. She, along with her 14-year-old sister Betsy and eight other individuals, including six other children, fell victim to a mass shooting that would come to be known as the "Palm Sunday Massacre."
