In the quiet residential neighborhood of Ozone Park, Queens, the evening of February 15, 2017, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 22-year-old Craig Days. That evening, at approximately 6:20 p.m., police responded to a 911 call reporting a man shot inside a vehicle. Upon arrival at 116-36 Van Wyck Expressway, officers discovered Days in a car, suffering from devastating gunshot wounds to his head and neck.
