Dara Joseph, a 33-year-old woman, went missing on June 1, 2017, from Beaumont, Texas. At the time of her disappearance, she was living with her boyfriend in a camper in China, Texas, a small town near Beaumont. Joseph's family last heard from her in late May or early June, when she mentioned she planned to travel to Portage, Indiana, where her family resided. However, she never arrived, raising immediate concerns.
