Derrick Jose Ubiles, a 31-year-old resident of Yonkers, NY, tragically lost his life on March 15, 2017. The incident occurred in the afternoon near the intersection of Warburton and Lamartine Avenues. At approximately 2:17 p.m., police responded to reports of gunshots in the area and found Ubiles on the ground, bleeding heavily from a gunshot wound to his abdomen. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to a nearby hospital, Ubiles was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.
