An 18-year-old male from Raleigh, North Carolina, Guy Vanlew Jr., was fatally shot in Yonkers, New York, on the evening of Saturday, July 17, 2021. The incident occurred just after 9 p.m. at 53 Cliff Street, across from a playground. When police officers arrived at the scene after receiving a call about shots being fired, they found Vanlew, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
