In the Bronx, a grim discovery was made on the night of May 31, 2017, that brought a violent end to the life of 45-year-old Noel Farrow. Firefighters, responding to a blaze in a third-floor apartment on Gleason Avenue, found Farrow's body in the kitchen. It was quickly determined that the fire was not the cause of his death; rather, he had been fatally shot in the head. The fire, which was deemed incendiary, was believed to have been set to conceal the murder.
