Lewis Encarnacion, a 17-year-old resident of East Harlem, New York, was tragically shot and killed on the night of September 13, 2017. The incident occurred at 1502 Park Avenue, between Tito Puente Way and East 111th Street. Officers arrived at the scene shortly after 10 p.m. and found Encarnacion suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
