In the early moments of a Sunday morning in June 2023, the life of 18-year-old Eliahs Emuel Brazoban was tragically cut short on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Just after midnight, on June 25th, Brazoban was shot once in the neck outside the Rivington Food deli, located at the corner of Rivington and Pitt Streets. First responders found him with the fatal wound, and he was rushed to New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
