In the winter of 1990, the life of 19-year-old Dak Leong was violently cut short in New York, NY. On the evening of February 8th, Leong was at Winnie's Lounge in Chinatown when the establishment was targeted in a brazen shooting. The attack was not a random act of violence but a calculated move in an ongoing and bloody conflict between rival gangs vying for control in the neighborhood. The perpetrators were identified as members of the notorious Vietnamese-American gang known as Born to Kill.
