On a fall evening in the Bronx, the life of 41-year-old Gregory Washington was tragically cut short. On October 1, 2017, in the vicinity of Waring Avenue and Williamsbridge Road, Washington was pursued by two men. The chase ended in a hail of bullets, with one shot fatally striking Washington in the torso. He was rushed to Jacobi Hospital but succumbed to his injuries during surgery a few hours later.
