David Montreal Williams, a 30-year-old African American man from New Orleans, Louisiana, was tragically killed by gun violence on June 16, 2016. According to his obituary, he was a native of New Orleans and is survived by his father, David Simmons; mother, Paula Williams-Simpson and her husband, Terry Simpson; and step-father, Darrow Carter.
