Patrycjusz S. Rus, a 21-year-old from South Jamesport, NY, tragically passed away on December 4, 2017. According to the Riverhead Town Police Chief David Hegermiller, Rus died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the South Jamesport town beach. The incident was reported to the police through a 911 call at 2:49 a.m. on that Monday, when a person discovered his body near a gazebo at the beach.
