In the spring of 2018, the life of 38-year-old Damien L. Sanders came to a violent end on a street in Albany, New York. On the afternoon of April 22nd, Sanders, a male who had been released from prison just four months earlier after serving a two-decade sentence for manslaughter, found himself in a fatal confrontation. He was sitting in a white BMW on Clinton Street when two men reportedly approached him, challenging him to a fight.
