In a tragic turn of events on June 30, 2019, Barbara Manougian, a 67-year-old female, was found deceased in her vehicle in Lake Grove, New York. The discovery was made by Suffolk County Police officers who were responding to a wellness check at the apartment of her 69-year-old husband, Varujan Manougian, on Hallock Road. Upon arrival, at approximately 1:20 p.m., police found Varujan inside the apartment with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
